making an ugly school uniform cute?

i have had to wear a uniform to school everday since i was in kindergarten. this is what it looks like.

we have to wear black or brown solid colored flats. no clogs, closed toe. they can't have any heel at all! not a lot of buckles on them.

we can't wear alot of jewelry, earrings cannot be dangles. no more than two rings worn, only one bracelet is permitted, no long necklaces or big & chunky ones.

we have freedom on socks though. we can wear any socks we want.

i normally wear a whit shirt with a blue skirt, black flats, navy knee socks & a navy head band.

any other suggestions that i could use to make my uniform look better?

trust me, i wish i had an option to transfer, i've begged. but no, i'm stuck.

socks & hair. the best distractions from the ugly uniform.

just make sure you don't go too too over the top iwth the socks. that would look tacky! lol.

You aren't left with too many options, are you?
First, splurge on a good, stylish haircut, not too far-out, but attractive on you. Then, people will look more at your face and less at your uniform.
Second, go all-out with the socks. Striped, argyle, polka-dot, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, (if logo's are permitted), etc. Fun, patterned socks are fashionable right now and you can get all kinds--with hearts for Valentine's Day, shamrocks for St. Patrick's Day, pumpkins for Halloween, and so on... also butterflies, hummingbirds, Mona Lisa, you-name-it. Just stick to the ones which are tasteful enough that the school authorities cannot object to them.
The flattering haircut will show the world that you're pretty and savvy, while the socks will tell the world that you're clever and sassy. What could be more cute than that?

Try the knee high socks and a bunch of cute head bands and hair clips and a a big chunky ring and a cute purse if you can have them.

flats can be sooo cute..so id play those up. Wear a ruby ring on your middle finger (gold) and a bute bracelet. id wear the white shirt with a bright or cute cami underneath. That way you can kindof see it or atleast unbutton a few butons so you can see it. If its really baggy you can cinch the waistline with safety pins insideor outside the shirt depending on how visible you want it to be. the navy skirt seems the cutest...? instead of plain knee socks choose cute ones that arent too bold. hey trust me i was in catholic school from kindergarden thru 12th grade. can you roll your cuffs up? that gives it a little bit of personality. i would wear some hot knee socks, i was never able to even wear socks i always wore tights! ew. i would totally go nuts with the socks. scarves? they are good, even if you have to ditch them at the door. also have fun with crazy purses! like go to vintage stores and just get awesome bags. also hair bands, scarves in your hair, beads, sparkles, pretty bobby pins, they can all add some spice to your limited wardrobe.

I have the same thing! I just wear black skinny jeans and a navy blue polo shirt. I am still looking for khaki or navy (or royal) blue jeans!! hahaha
