Mrs. Clinton calling for an international investigation in Buhtto's death?
I mean who is she to call for this? She's just trying to look presidential, but she comes off as being desperate for an issue.

Hillary Rodham Clinton has every right as a United States Senator to call for an investigation, international or otherwise. The entire field of Democrat candidates appear desparate, with the exception of John Edwards who seems to have substance and detailed plans on most of the issues. The invasion of illegal aliens is the most important issue, which threatens the very survival of our nation and our security, however, not one candidate of either party has proffered a meaningful, detailed plan to this ongoing crisis.

This is an issue for Pakistan to investigate and resolve if it so desires to. Who is she to suggest we disrespect the sovereignty of Pakistan on this issue? This is the same justification that got us into Iraq to liberate all those poor opressed iraqis. Pakistan is a sovereign country and should handle its own issues. Hilary is no better than Bush.

Um she isn't the first, so did John Edwards, yesterday. Bhutto was an important figure who gave her people hope, she died for them, they have a right to an investigation that will be fair and honest.

She can't call for anything. Rodham Clinton is boasting to the uneducated voter who doesn't know any better, all the candidates and those powerful to do something are laughing at her. Forensic evidence is gone, and no one can do anything but except the word of the Pakistan Police and government investigators. It is over, let her rest in peace.

Actually, and if you think about it....Chaos and the possible loss of Democracy in Pakistan ...(until now, and so far, a U.S. Ally...And a NUCLEAR armed country to boot)...could and WILL affect The U.S. and the world stage in general (the ripple effect).
Hillary is only asserting herself as A SENATOR should for any cause forgiegn or domestic that can have grave implications for our country. That is what gives her the right.

She is not my candidate but on this issue she has a good idea.
If Musharaaf is blameless he should welcome such an international inquiry. If (as I suspect) he knows more than he is saying, he will refuse to allow an international body to investigate an event that could have such dire consequences in the region and the world.

Yeah, she's pathetic.
But calling a candidacy dead before the election is a bad habbit. People need to stop speculating as if it were a sport and instead get informed about the candidates. You would think it were a horserace....
