OH! Yeah! You're Right! It IS! Hooray! I wrote complaints to yahoo and gap. Maybe I helped. I let gap know I'd seen more than one Answers participant say they'd never buy anything there again. I suggested they negotiate for the remainder of the contract for something silent.

I blocked that particular ad a few weeks ago, but am glad to hear (or not hear, as the case may be) that they pulled the wretched thing. Nothing like having someone's voice bellowing out at twice the volume your music is playing at. I'm not shopping at Gap again either.. hopefully other advertisers will realize that invasive advertising reflects poorly on their company.

Yes, I have noticed.
I emailed GAP about that ad (and I imagine a lot of other Yahoo! Answers members did as well). The ad was not funny and just mean-spirited.

Yeah is right, that thing was so irritating, wasn't it.
Nothing like being overbearing. Kind of like being forced down your throat. Good riddence to bad rubbish. Really wants
to make you shop at the Gap Huh!!! Wrong!!!!!

I got this funny people talking thingy twice (was that it) but after 3 words just pulled out the speaker jack.

I noticed a few days ago. I think it may have been just for the Christmas shopping season. I just hope that they decide not to do that again!
