ok well my grade in one of my classes is an 87%, i just finished my finnal and i got a 95 on it. the finnal is worth 30% of my finnal grade so what do i have?

Find another number that average all up to 30.

x+87%+95%=90%
x+182%=90%
x=-92%

(87 times 7)+(95 times 3) = 894
Now divide by 1000
894/1000 = 0.894
You would have 89 percent, maybe they would 'give you' the 90 if you were lucky.

0.7 * 87% + 0.3 * 95% = 89.4%
