More assassination attempts are thwarted, than the media probably even knows about. There is so much classified information that the American public and media are alerted on a need to know basis.

Another executed assassination could definitely happen.

Of course. It happened frequently in the past. Just because we have the secret service/other security measures today does not mean that there is no way to assassinate a politician. In fact, if some nut-job wanted to do it, they could easily find the opportunity.

There's no such thing as 100% guaranteed security. It wasn't that long ago that Reagan was shot. Senators & Representatives have far less security than the President, so they could certainly be assassinated.

Sure it can. It has happened before. Hell, even attempts have happened. Some nut will get the bug in his shorts to kill the President, and it will happen again. Nothing is fool-proof, and there are a lot of fools in this world. . .

MANY Presidents/Politicians have had attempted assignations and some have succeeded. Of course an assassination can happen and it probably will.

How do you conclude that "a lot of people don't believe this can happen again...?" History has proved that it is indeed possible and one who have to be extremely naive to believe that it cannot happen again.

All of my acquaintances are of the opinion that it will happen again.

It's happened twice before. Of course history never repeats itself.

Of course. An assassin who doesn't mind being killed and killings lots of other people cannot be stopped.
