How much detail for cameras at Wal-mart can see? example they can see more detail what is show up on screen when you check out ??

Are you talking about security cameras?
When I worked at a Wal-mart they had some cameras that worked, others that didn't, and no security guard to monitor the screens. No wonder people stole all the time. Next time you go there, look up at the ceiling for black half-globes; those are the "hidden" cameras.

Wal Mart's cameras work but no one is watching them and they hardly will ever go back and review the footage. A women was stabbed in a Wal Mart parking lot and they refused to review the footage on the cameras until it was court ordered.
But like the other person said they do have loss prevention officers that are plain clothed workers who walk to aisles looking for shop lifters and Wal Mart has no problem prosecuting you if you do shoplift

the cameras are hooked up to the security room where more than one person watches. There are also multiple civilian clad security walking around watching over the shoppers. The cameras have very high resolution that can see the face of George Washington in a dollar bill.

I read that to my Dad. He scrunched up his face and said, "What the hell is that supposed to mean?" However, to me it is obvious that the camera you buy at Wal-mart will have just as much detail after you buy it as before.

I have seen many people shoplift at the stores. Do I say something and get that person arrested or be quite and let them get away with it since if they had the money they would be able to pay for it, unless its an kleptomaniac. I usually dont say anything.

Not like most stores......I just had to be honest.....If you believe they do you're sadly mistaken. I have been witness to many shoplifting events this year alone, 3 times to be exact and twice from Mervyns. It's sad but i've not seen any changes from their loss prevention teams...
