Well, I do think that some religions insist on being buried within a certain amount of time. I have no idea how they can be done investigating in that short of a time, though.

What investigation? Al-Qaida murdered Benazir Bhutto on Musharaf's orders. You don't think they are going to allow anyone to actually investigate and produce the proof, do you? Even Bush wouldn't be able to figure out an excuse for sending his pal $10 billion a year after that.

I have heard that Muslims have to be buried within twenty four hours. But I am sure this is far from over. She had a lot of followers, I see trouble brewing, this in not good.

The Islamic religion says a body has to be buried within a certain time frame. They are following their religion by burying her so quickly

That is Islamic law the body must be buried within 24 hours and what would we investigate anyway..because also by Islamic law an autopsy cannot be performed on the body.

I understand the Muslim tradition of a quick burial but you would think a former prime minister and world leader would have been given a state funeral with a period of laying in state. Other Muslim leaders have been given this honor.

Muslims, like Jews, do not use embalming.
They must be buried within 24 hours, according to both religions.

Her head was squashed on one side like last summer's wiffle ball. I'd say everyone is sufficiently convinced that she's dead and that it wasn't from eating bad shrimp.
Besides, you have to get them into the ground before sundown on the next day. Otherwise they start to get kinda gamey.
