This has always perplexed me and I have never found a logical reason. Half a slice of cheese covers half of the sandwich. Why is it only like this on the fish sandwich? Please help.

That's a GREAT question!! I like their fish sandwiches but, I don't buy them anymore for that reason. I feel that it's not fair to charge me an extra 50 cent for a piece of cheese. If they would make the sandwich right in the 1st place i wouldn't have to pay extra.

You know how expensive that processed cheese is these days. But really, good question. I've never ordered the fish sandwich so I've never noticed. Maybe the fish costs more than the burger so they have to make up for that difference by putting less cheese? Stupid answer, I know, but it's all I can come up with.

The reason for the half slice of cheese is to have it melt against the fish filet, and not have any cold piece of cheese sticking out...The bun is steamed, not toasted like the rest of the sandwiches, so this allows the cheese to melt nicely against the filet, and makes the bun softer.

Maybe it's because they don't want to make the sandwich saltier or its just their style.
