Well I have three tatoo's, but they're all in places that are mostly hidden (one on the inside of my hip, one below my shoulder blade and one on my ribcage), That way, they're only on show if I want, and I wont regret them when I'm older.
Make sure you're really happy about where and aht you get.
I waited a year before I got each one, and if after a year I still wanted it then i was sure it was a good idea.

Get a stick on, wash off type. When you are in your middle age and the folds appear, tattoos really look very strange. A lot like Norah Batty's stockings!!

i think you should have 'Mother" tatooed on your arm...
you know it would make her the happiest woman in the world
what right do you have to deny the woman who probably sweated through 24 hrs of labour to give you birth a little bit of happiness ? not to mention the dirty nappies and the vomit
she probably had to clean up from your younger years

As tatoos goes and being Scottish it would be as good and loads better than most. However, I abosultely HATE people with tatoos soooooooooo PL e a s e don't get it¬¬¬¬

You asked for suggestions so don`t complain if you get some. mine is don`t do it i did and thought it was great now I`m older I wish I hadn`t for all sorts of reasons.if you do then make sure it`s a reputable tottooist. good luck.

remember tattoes fade and spread over time. so in a few years, that finely detailed avatar tattoo will just look like a gigantic blotch on your skin, and ppl will think you have skin cancer or something.

I've had one for years, is no problem. Make sure you go to a reputable parlour is the main thing.
