cause sandals are made for hot wheather so your feet can stay dry and cool and socks are made for colder wheather so its the opposite...its like an oxymoron.

People do it but the purpose of wearing sandals is to be able to show your feet without the socks....if that's the case you might as well wear closed toe shoes. Wearing socks takes away the "beauty" of the sandal.

So basically sandals are meant to reveal more of the foot. And by wearing socks, it defeats the purpose of the open-toed sandals.

Wearing socks and sandals is weird because sandals are made for the open toes. And socks are designed for protecting the toes and feet from the cold weather or use under tennishoes, or formal shoes.

Cause you look like a poindexter.They are SANDALS. Meant to be shoes for the summer when it's HOT. So your feet don't gets all skanky. Wearing socks defeats that purpose.

It's odd because most people wear sandals when their hot, and what's the point of wearing them with socks if they don't get any breeze.
OR,,,it simply doesn't look good.

IF ITS COLD OUTSIDE THEN DONT WHERE SANDALS!

well, i guess because when you wear socks its because you feet are being covered up, and when we see socks with sandals it is just weird to us. sometimes when its winter and i go out to get the mail i wear scks with sandals but usually never ;)

because that's just not right? sandals are open toe for a reason, because they're to keep your feet cool, and fresh air. if you wear with socks that just defeats the purpose.
