Do I have to pick. I can do both. I can have the TV on for company and be reading at the same time. Some times I only look up at the TV if I hear something interesting.

On average I read 4 -5 books a week. But if there is something really good on TV then I will watch it. But my usual preference would be for books!

50/50. I do both equally. At the moment I'm reading a very interesting biography about Lee Miller, an American woman from a well-to-do family who lived a brilliant bohemian life and became an accomplished photographer.
As for TV, I like British comedy, stuff like Little Britain, and any good BBC dramas. Favourite Australian shows are Spicks and Specks(a wacky music quiz show with heaps of comedy thrown in) and Collectors, which is about - well, people who collect stuff.

I have always loved to read. But I'd be lying if I said I didn't also enjoy TV. During the day it is usually a book. But in the evening I there are several shows I like.

*****I like too read*****
My husband and I had just been married for a few years.
He knew I did not like TV. We would watch TV together some...but mostly we would go too book stores and read... My husband liked TV...
but I do not think we had a meeting of the minds about how much he liked TV and how little I liked it....
Anyhoo,
we got a new Neighbour
she was saying her TV broke and her children were missing Saturday cartoons..So, I gave her our TV...When my husband came home he was more then a little upset..... That was over 20 years ago.......he still comes home and looks to see if we still have a TV...................*w*

I don't watch TV, but I do read a great deal.

Someone sent me copies of three of Balzac's books she found beside the dumpster at a used book store in Kansas. 51 pages into The Country Doctor. Loving every page thus far.

Read. I love reading, I just got a $50 gift card for Borders, and I left the store with I think 10 books. I plan on reading all of them :)
