Why are people so against viewing/watching Porn on the internet or renting Adult DVDs?

I'm married, but my wife and I never have sex, so what else am I suppose to do? Cheat on her? I'm 36 and very sexually driven and she isn't

Porn shouldn't make you feel uncomfortable. Don't you think in society today, we should be comfortable with nudity and sexuality and be able to talk freely about it with our boyfriends/girlfriends and spouses?

My wife is so uptight about it and it drives me nuts. Its the reason why my sex life is non-existant and I'm 36. I should be having the best damm sex of my entire life time right now....

Im not against it.I may not sit and watch it every day or even several times a week but yes,me and my husband watch it every now and then =]

I'm not against it. I do watch in my bedroom behind closed doors. I don't rent because there is no place nearby to rent from. I do however go to the SEX SHOP with my husband and purchase new videos for us to share. I don't really like the internet stuff though.

In my opinion noone should judge anyone due to what they watch. It is not a crime to look at porn. Unless it has to do with children. I think if a man and woman want to view it then that should be their decision. Noone should judge them due to their taste of entertainment.

These are people who are afraid of what the films bring up inside them;ie, they like what they see but they are in a position that has them saying that porn is bad etc. So this has these folks doing the 2 step, lie ......
Frankly, looking at other people doing the big sling swing is a turn on. If you look at " Pompeii " where the volcano covered an entire area; upon uncovering they found they porno of the day. Right up on the walls, people doing every kind of position. So from the time man saw woman he had a woodie....

If it is just consenting adults it is fine,but if you have the potential for a child to wander through the room,no way. Although children are quite capable of finding their own X-rated T.V. or movies it is not appropriate for them to see adult reactions or think of certain sexual activities as common place. It is confusing enough all the roles we have to play in which the least is contributing to confusion of our children.

I'm with you, but a married man who watches porn and then satisfies himself may be ruining his marriage; but for a single man, it is good entertainment and a way to relieve tension. Personally I think it is better than watching some of the sadistically violent TV and movies that we are afflicted with nowadays.

Well i guess its ur own decision.... but if u are married its pretty stupid after all the bible says that if u are married and even look at someone with lustfulness that it is cheating. But i guess these days nobody really cares which is sad but it's also trashy i think..... Although i guess u could learn a thing or two from pornos... I just dont get turned on watchin it... it makes me feel uncomfortable

Because modern religions like Islam and Christianity equate sexual repression with morality.

Although porn is a lot more acceptable in today's society,it's still considered taboo.

Most people watch porn on occasion,but they just don't talk about it.

Personally,I think it's good clean fun.

try and do something romantic that will maybe get her int he mood.. Yo can also try marriage counseling 9/10 there is probaly something wrong .. For instance something with in that is troubling or on her mind that is hendering her from really coming out more to you... maybe something from child hood.. Just a thought.. I hope this helps

for me i don't want my boyfriend watching that.
but why does he need to, he has me?
and i beleive that HAVING sex is better than watching it.

i persoanlly don't like my boyfreind looking at other girls, and other girls making him horny. thats what im for. =]


i'm sure no one else agrees with me on this..and its a small part of my OCD, but when he used to watch it, it made me feel like he was cheating on me.
