Hispanic will be over 25% of the population and an increase in the percentage of blacks and asians will make " minorities " over 50%. The average age will be older and there will be a smaller fraction of people in the labor force so we will have slower economic growth.
The Hi tech gagets of today will be considered necessities, but most of the new scientific breakthroughs will be in biology. Most of us will live in houses that exist today. We will be more fuel efficient because or rising energy prices, but will still be a car centered culture.

There still may be a conflict of energy, and a change thereof if it doesn't happen sooner. Also, there still may be legal issues concerning copyrights and the ethics of intercommunication, as the information technology will continue to explode as cell-phones, i-pods, and computers merge into one. By this time space exploration might be front stage. Even by then, it is optimistic to hope for colonies. More likely some stations on the moon. But it may turn political. More political movements will swing about.

It all depends on what the people and the government want it to be...and how well the people and government communicate to reach the desired result.

I hope that it's a recognizable capitalist country, similar more to what we used to have. I have a feeling that it will be leaning more toward communitst though.
