is it ok to put opinions in news articles?

I'm doing a social studies exit project in which im making a newspaper. So i just wanted to know if it was ok if i included an opinion in a news article. not an editorial; a news article :)

An editorial and a news article are two separate items, and should be treated as such. It may be acceptable in your case to include an opinion, provided it is clearly identified as such. Good luck with your project.
