1983,1984,1985,1986,1987,1988,1989,1990,1995,2001,2002?.....MJ failed on "the Big Stage" ...so why could'nt he "will himself to victory"???????

Because there were a couple of guys named Bird and Johnson around, and because of that, that crap wasn't happening.

Because the Celtics (Parrish, Bird, McHale, Johson et al) and the Bad Boys (Rodman, Dumars, Eke) were too good for MJ and young Pippen/Grant.
Without Pippen and Grant, I dont think Jordan would have got over the top.
Dont bash Jordan, those celtics and Pistons team were pretty darn good and had veterans.

What a DUMB A$S you know there are more important things in life than proving that Kobe's better than MJ get a life but to answer your question people would triple team MJ when he was the only player worth anything on his team how's Kobe without Shaq? no trophies yet huh? don't bring up his time with the Wiz they're my favorite team but they were a sorry bunch of a poor excuse for players so what's your excuse for Kobe not winning for the past 5 or 6 years I'd love to hear that

Dude because in the 80's every team had like 2 all stars and think about this in the time he did when he kept great plaers from winning Barkley, Miller, Ewing,Stockton, Malone, Payton,Wilkins, and if he wouldnt of played baseball The Dream n Cassel wouldnt of won either. And he made other great players look stupid.

actually Scottie Pippen (one of greatest players of all time) was with Jordan from '87-'90. Where were the rings? Why couldnt they beat the Bad Boys?

It was because he didnt have the experience, the right people around and didnt have the right coach. Like Kobe, kobe hadnt had the the experienced people along side him untill now.

Experince...he wasn't ready yet..like everyone else he had to take his lumps...in the hands of Magic's Laker's and Bird's Celtics...not to mention Isiah's Piston's....those teams actually helped him win those 6titles..

well in 1983 he was still in college but as for the other years it was because the teams were all basically made up of future hall of famers and/or allstar type talent at that time why the bulls really had nobody.
