Here are some suggestions I have seen elsewhere...hook and eye closures (like the back of a bra, there was a row of them), my Justina McCaffrey dress had a 'belt.' It is just a strip of fabric that goes around the bottom of your rib cage (like maybe 3 inches above your belly button) that closes in the back with a hook.
TIghten the laces on the back.
During the second fitting, the lady had me bend at the waist at a 45 degree angle, adjusted the dress and sewn-in cups so they were slightly above my breasts (not underneath). Then she zipped me up, pulled the dress down slightly and it was a perfect fit.
Just for fun, I put on my dress just standing up, none of this bending over stuff. The result was a visible gap between my chest and the dress.

For a cheaper alternative, try double sided tape.

If it's slipping, it doesn't fit. Plain and simple. If thee's anyway you can wear it tighter, i.e. use all the buttons, pick the tighest set of hooks, however yours works, do it.
If you have a little while before the wedding, bring it to the place you got it and take them up on the complimentary tailoring most places give you. Tighten the back near the shoulders, waist or hips, wherever slips.
If it fits and you're just worried, don't worry. It'll be ok. My wife's dress was strapless and it lasted all the way from 1pm till 10pm, including tons of walking and a bunch of dancing. She didn't need any special remedies.

I understand thoroughly on the topic of the peak distinction. i'm 5'3'' and my husband to be is 6'3''. The gown rather relies upon on what you're tender in. in case you like a strapless gown, get a bustier and be sure it suits nicely sufficient which you will no longer ought to consistently pull it up all day. What bride rather desires to spend her special occasion pulling up her gown? And, in case you do no longer be careful it may reason some undesirable memories in destiny years. yet while the gown suits snugly without being too tight, you need to be advantageous. Plus, get some style of heel which will help with the peak distinction yet won't make you uncomfortable. reliable luck and appropriate desires!!!

Try making a triangle cut in the dress right under the armpit so not as much visible and sewing it back together . It tightens up the dress on you and isn't noticable.

go to Victoria Secrets and buy a strapless pushup, slightly padded bra. And if this isn't enough, get the tape.
Or go back to where ever you bought it or had it made and get some quick alterations. It shouldn't slip.
What way is it slipping? A couple of tucks/skinny darts should do the trick.

Make sure that the bodice has very solid ribbing. I think the ribbing things are called stays. It is these handy things which keep the dress from slipping and revealing more that you'd like to the whole world.

this happened with my sister's wedding dress. so to keep it from falling, my mom sewed white fabric underneath the dress where the tupe top part is, it made the dress fit better so it wouldnt fall off.

Victoria's Secret sells a double sided tape.
You can also try hair spray but it might ruin the fabric.
