its a stye... its a little bump underneath your top eye lashes and whenever you blink its rubbing against your eye. it should go away within a couple days, don't worry.

The last time this kind of thing happened in my family, my husband had a small sliver of steel stuck in the white part of his eye. He assumes it went into his eye while at work. He insisted that he never felt anything actually hit his eye. But, it hurt like heck for several hours.

The nurse at the eye clinic explained that this is fairly common. It happens a lot when people are around glass
when it breaks.

If your eye is still really irritated in a couple of hours, I'd call the eye doctor. Whether it's something like this or you are getting an eye infection, you need treatment.

Ask a friend to look in your eye as you hold up the eyelid.

If they see a little pimple, it's most likely a stye. You can get a cream to help reduce the stye from a Pharmacy / Chemist.

The more you blink, the worse it will be. If it is really unbearable, consider seeing your doctor or visit the emergency room / Casualty of your local hospital.

can you see what is in your eye? Hold your bottom eye-lid down and look up maybe you have an eyelash or something along those lines in it. try keeping your eye closed. It should flush whatever is in your eye out. if that doesn't work go to the doctor.

Could be a sty ( spelling) flip you eyelid to see if you see a little bump or somethng. If so then be relieved you have nothing in your eye and just mad you gotta deal with the feeling for another day or so

If it is in your eye, not your eyelid, when you wash or rub, always go toward your nose, that's where the opening is in your eye. If you rub the wrong way, you will make it worse. If it's on the lid, it is a sty. Don't touch it with dirty hands.

There might have been something in your eye, but by now I sure you have wash it out. Whatever it was it might have irritated the eye and that is why it may feel like there is still something there.

Best thing, wrap both eyes and have someone look at it. Covering both eyes keeps you from blinking and moving the eye.

If you hurt enough to post this then you need to be seen. Your first aid hasn't worked

you have probably got it out but the remaining iritation contiues on the eyelid ( the only part that has feeling) keep it cool and not moving for a while......if it is unbearable, got to the emergency room.. eyes are nothing to guess with..

You could try to flip you upper lid and look on the back side of it. If this does not do it, the a trip to the ophthalmologist is in order.
