Berkeley Bowl in Berkeley, CA. Other than that I used to like that huge grocery store in East Berlin, Germany in the early 1980's. East Berlin was a showplace and they had a great selection of gourmet foods, smoked fish and meats, beluga caviar etc.

My favorite is Sav-A-Lot because I'm cheap. When I feel like celebrating, I upgrade to Kroger or Food Lion.
