I am going to have kids, and I just know that I'll be a much better than you. I'll let my kids take a breather. Oh and JJ is better. She can sing unlike some of the singers you probably listen to.

My uncle really did meet her. Her sister went to the same college in Mississippi that my uncle did. Janis came to visit her one day, and he got to hang out with her for a while. He said she was really nice, but a little quiet and reserved. She was an unusually shy and self conscious woman, she used drugs to escape and sadly lost her life to them in 1970. She wasn't alive in the mid seventies as someone previously stated.

No. I wish I did. I was born about 3 years before Kurt Cobain died. So it was impossible to get the chance to ever meet her.

No, I got here just a little shy of being able to do that.....but I would have considered it an absolute honor just to have seen her perform live.
She was passionate and you could hear it in her voice, and that made her beautiful, at least to me.

one evening in the mid 70`s...while on a "trip"...I think I ran into her at a party....she was awesome!

no, she was very talented and awesome...but many say she was very depressed, lonely, and troubled underneath it all
