The dsl i can get is from the local telephone company and its way too much, i cant get a big company like qwest or at&t. Also the cable internet is practically Extortion. is there any other internet i can get?(besides dial up, i have no house phone)

If you think DSL and cable internet is costly, you are in for a real eye opener.
Try cellular internet if it is available - you need one connection for each device and routers will not work with these. Cost around $90 / mo
Try satellite internet from a satellite TV producer - service interruptions due to weather is an issue. Costs around $90 / mo
Try a T1 to internet from the Telephone company - 1.5 Mbps up and down, 8 static IP, about $500 / mo or more but very reliable.
DSL requires a land phone line and DSL runs around $30 / month not including the land phone line.

I think there's something called T1 and T10 which are super fast internet connections =).
