Who is benefiting from this circus?

Someone makes a lot of money from it that's for sure - not most of the women who put so much effort in - if they are lucky they might get a modelling contract or be in a couple of ads. Last time I contributed to a debate on this (on MSN) someone brought up the very good point that where it is held has a lot to do with where sponsors want to exploit new markets - so it is not often in any rich countries that are already saturated. The winner i s also chosen with this in mind.

Oh, its just a coincidence that miss universe is a terrestrial. Last time a cybertronian got elected "miss universe", was over 2000 years ago.. :(
