YES ! I feel for you... I had to go to the ER Christmas morning with a gall bladder "attack" ! I felt like I was going to DIE.. After spending 6 hours waiting for ultrasound, x-rays and bloodwork... I got sent home with some medication for the pain and to follow-up.. I may have to have my gall bladder removed ! So, I can understand how you feel.... I missed my two little guys opening presents and having a good time...
Good luck/be well.

I spent Christmas 2002 in the hospital with my Grandmother as she died. It was the worst Christmas ever. But the staff brought me a cot so I could sleep beside her bed and tried to keep my spirits up as much as possible. The wonderful nurses made it tolerable.

I spent it lying on a sofa after breaking my ankle playing touch rugby on Christmas Eve! I'm sure yours was more miserable though - I hope you manage to make up for it on another day.

I didn't spend Christmas in the hospital but my grandmother did. I thought it was so nice, though. Her doctor's mother's church group made quilts and had him give them to all of his patients as Christmas presents. It was so kind and thoughtful!
