Clinton calls for new beginning
By BOB LINK, bob.link@globegazette.com
MASON CITY — Stressing a need for a new beginning for America, Sen. Hillary Clinton told more than 600 North Iowans Friday that the things she has accomplished during her career have her prepared to lead the country.
“We need a president that is ready on day one,” the New York senator and Democratic presidential candidate said at the North Iowa Fairground.
Clinton reminded Iowa voters that there are only six days until they caucus.
“Our democracy is the longest running in history,” she said. “That is something to be proud of but not to take for granted.”
Clinton reviewed her plan for health care for all Americans, establishing new jobs with renewable energy, starting to withdraw troops from Iraq and affordable education.
“We need to stop listening to the two oil men in the White House,” she said.

I am a New Yorker & I KNOW that Hillary has done absolutely NOTHING for New York.---Hillary has NOT written, drafted, sponsored, endorsed or voted on ANY legislation that has EVER benefitted New York. Hillary MISSED most of the Senate Votes & has NEGLECTED all of her NY Senatorial dues while she has been campagning for President for the past year.---NY Senator Chuck Schummer ALWAYS addresses the problems & concerns of ALL New Yorkers & Hillary is ALWAYS CONSPICUOUSLY ABSENT whenever there is an issue that needs to be addressed.---I DON'T want Hillary as Senator or President becuase she has proven herself to be a completely incompetent Politician------If YOU want Hillary; I would be happy to mail her to you, postage paid, from New York ??

I do not. Besides being obsessed with power, Hillary is all for centralizing more power in the government. She believes that the government know what's best for you and me, and nothing could be farther from the truth. Hillary Clinton has been an avowed socialist from her collegiate days.
In my opinion, her candidacy was cooked up by the two of them(Bill and Hillary)to sidestep the law prohibiting a 3rd term for Bill. This is their way to put him back in the White House. She's as slick as Slick Willy.

One problem with Hillary as President would be the total lack of respect from other countries. I don't agree with their cultures, but most countries make their women walk behind them or ware covers over their faces and treat them like dogs.
I don't think a woman president would demand any respect from these countries.

Hillary is my Man !
She has experience, she understands how the presidency works and has never failed to put herself in controversial projects that benefit the American people such as universal health care.
Take a look at her time as first lady Vs. Laura Bush.
Laura is well educated and a good speaker. Her big project as first lady is books for children.
Wow, that's going out on a limb.
Now ,remember back to when Hillary was first lady. She took on universal health care. She wasn't afraid to work on political projects that were challenging.
She has a liberal open mind and is not owned by any religion.
Those are important issues for me.

No because I don't trust her. She seems too much like a corporate politician. We need someone real and who we can trust to do the job right.

I'd just like to know the burning question:
Are the majority of chicks for or against the woman?
'cause as soon as a study comes out, wham! Chicks on boards are rabidly saying the opposite.
