My second pregnany was/is much worse than my first as well. Just as children are different, pregnancies vary as well. I read an article once that says that the placenta is being built during the first trimester and the energy it takes from our bodies is equivalent to running a marathon every day. No wonder we get so tired! A pregnant woman should be getting between 12 and 16 hours of sleep during the 1st trimester. Easier said than done of course, but you're not alone!
Take vitamins b6 and b12 to help with energy, and eat plenty of protein (you can google protein sources if you arent sure what has protein in it). Try eating a combination of carbs and protein. The carbs will give you energy faster, but the protein will help keep the levels up longer. Your body is tired for a reason. Listen to it, and get as much rest as you can manage. Good luck and congratulations! Your energy should return by your second trimester. Try doing mild exercises too, if you have enough strength. This will help you with energy as well. Ask your doctor about what is safe.

Each pregnancy is different. The fact that you already have a child makes me think that this alone will make you somewhat tired. Pregancy also tires you out. Try to get some more rest. Take an afternoon nap as often as you're able. Make sure you're eating a healthy diet and staying well hydrated too.

Every pregnancy is different. Try to rest and know that being pregnant takes a toll on your body and you do need extra rest at times. Many women take naps, go to bed earlier, etc.

Every pregnancy is different. Plus, you now have a child to take care of this time, instead of just yourself, make sure you are taking the vitamins prescribed to you by your doctor and have your iron checked.

Every pregnancy is different. That was my main symptom when I was in my 1st trimester - fatigue. My doctor gave me prenatals that hare more iron in them, but it didn't help. Your 2nd trimester should get better. Best of luck!
