It's good to see you back.
My Christmas was really great. I spent the day with family and got a phone call that I was not expecting at all. It was a wonderful Christmas.

the nicest one we have had in years. since the 23rd we have had family and friends make their annual treks out here and stay with us overnight, the last group arrived yesterday and depart in the morning.
we head out tomorrow morning to our little cabin in the woods and are so looking forward to a very peaceful new year's eve! just the two of us, with a couple of good books and chocolate! what more could one ask for.
at midnight we will stand on the porch and listen to the absolute quiet and look up at the beauty of the night sky. i wish you and everyone else as lovely a new year's eve as what we expect ours to be.
