I WANT TO PLANT LITTLE LILLY PLANTS IN MY AQUARIUM,I HAVE LOTS OF GUPPIES AND LOTS OF SNAILS,IS IT OKAY TO PLANT IT?ALSO HOW WOULD I CARE FOR THE LILY,MANTINENCE.......WOULD MY GUPPIES LIKE IT,CURRENTLY LIVING IN A 25 GALLON TANK WITH ONE PLASTIC CORAL....

Are they underwater lillies or regular lillies?

Ordinary "land" flowers will not grow being completely submerged in water all day.

If you mean water lillies like the lotus plant, in that case it should be fine.

nope i wouldn't do lillies.

i would go with anacharis. guppies would enjoy hiding in it and nibbling on it. it can't get any better than that. plus it floats, there is no maintinence, and you don't even have to plant it. it looks kind of like a fern. look it up.

i have a few african chiclids. do not get lillies, if they float, because then the food will just get caught on top of them or (god forbid) a fish might jump on one.


get some nice rocks for the bottom, and get some little plants that look like seaweed.

only if they're ment to be in an aquarium, if you're talking about lillies which where not raised in a tank, for get it, they will die

no, you should not.

Plant a mustard plant instead. It looks good, and your stupid fish will enjoy the taste as they lick it.
