blood in the urine could indicate a pyelonephritis, not just a bladder infection. Dangerous as it can cause renal shut down. And while there probably is an infection, without a culture and sensitivity test done on the urine, there is no way to know if the clindamycin will work or not, you could have an organism that is resistant to the drug, most especially if you've take it before and have leftover pills. Strongly suggest you see your doctor pronto.

The most likely cause of blood in the urine is a simple bladder infection, even though there are many other nastier explanations it is best to go for the most common.
Clindamycin is not the first choice antibiotic for this, though it is likely to help.

You shouldn't self diagnose. Go see a urologist. It might not be a UTI - it could be kidney stones.
