Was the reason that bugs bunny talked so funny was because he had a hare lip?

It's hard to say " What' s Up doc" when your mouth is full of carrots too. Along with a hare lip I'm surprised he could do both at the same time without the carrots falling out his mouth.

Not too sure about the hare lip but I heard his speech therapist was Dennis Hopper.

Well, it's because the people who created that character wanted him to be that way. I don't know...
