That the USO takes in water.....to help balance the water on the outside so it doesn't get crushed??????????

When they showed this, the USO then descended into the water.

Okay...well maybe they siphon in the water for something else....but that was the only reason I could think of.

I was hoping someone here to "Go On" about it.

Or someone who could come in under their identity and tell us all the real truth.

So maybe they need the hydrogen,...and have some type of separator on board.

I seriously doubt that anyone knows the real truth about Unidentified Submerged Objects; however, I do have a hypothesis for everyone's consideration.

A. Why would a species technologically advanced enough for interstellar travel come to such a primitive planet like our own?

B. Why would they need water to prevent from being crushed by the water they dive into?

C. Why would they dive into the water in the first place?

Hypothesis A. Earth is simply an interstellar rest stop or we are under observation for some unknown reason.

Hypothesis B. The water is likely a replenishment for their own supply or a fuel source for some sort of fusion reactor. A race that advanced should have the ability to counteract water pressure through force fields and such.

Hypothesis C. To keep us from sticking our noses in their business.

Are you talking about that show on the History Channel (I think) that show about this?:http://www.crystalinks.com/usos206.html
I didn't see all of it. I just found this link and will read about it...but I'm sure I won't know how it's possible. It might have helped if you'd shown a link. Some people don't know what USOs are.

If you are describing "alien craft" we don't know what the water intake means unless it is sample taking for later analysis there are suggestions that these "Objects" come and go to under water bases but has yet to be confirmed...they say the Military Knows

Not only is it possible, it is the very mechanism that all modern submarines use to dive and ascend. However, because they contain human occupants, submarines cannot flood all air-filled chambers, and are thus limited to a certain depth.

if they can "supposedly" travel billions of light years throughout the universe and enter other atmospheres without getting crushed then why would the pressure from the ocean have any affect on them?

alien technology is unknown,
I would assume that they have some sort of shield or a strong shell that will not crush, or are not entirely in this dimension,
there are lots of ways they could do this, but so far none of them have shared engineering knowledge with me.

One theory is that these objects use fusion power and water is just hydrogen and oxygen.
