If you dont want to do it yourself just take it to a drycleaners.
The heat from the drycleaning process melt the wax of without any problems.

MC is correct, I prefer using paper-towels personally though but really it is the same diffrence. What you are doing is wicking the wet candle wax to the paper bag/ paper towel removing it from your article of clothing, carpet or other item. It is easier if you pick off the pieces that are removable by hand first.

Place a brown paper bag under the wax spot & one over it & iron. you will need to move the paper periodically until it absorbs all of the wax
