I would hope for good things to happen in our country and world. Peace would be a very good thing, but I don't want peace by defeat. Peace through reconciliation would be acceptable but not if we are the only people being conciliatory.

I don't wish anyone dead, but I don't want us to be threatened any more by anyone. We can learn to not only respect each other but to love each other--I believe that is the Christian way.

I hope for an election which leaves our nation strong and united. But I also want those who cast votes to remember we are also electing a Congress. When the new President and Congress are in office I hope we can unite in supporting them. I wish President Bush well in his forthcoming years as a former President. I think he has done far more good than anyone realizes, and I hope someday that might be appreciated.

I hope the world will learn to love everyone's children and to make them safe. For myself and my family and friends I wish for good health, prosperity and safety.

And for all I wish a Happy New Year.

Enlightenment. That people will think more as individual members of one species, and less in terms of religious, political or ethnic differences. That world leaders will focus on the truly critical issues of our time, like overpopulation, over consumption of resources and pollution and find a way to take the power from arms dealers and oil companies. I hope that the States of California, Michigan, Louisiana, Nevada and Illinois have good weather the rest of the year for all those Forclosures on homes and raising taxes so high you would have a nose bleed. I hope that the fact they are kicking the daylights out of the Poor and Middle classes, gets them Loads of Luxuries.

I hope all the right to work states never be lacking in employees, they Never look out for ..I hope that all the states that have initiatied smoking bans, have all Non Smokers in their States and their revenues and little luxuries at the expense of those smokers becomes null and void. What Smokers had been paying they won't be able to afford anymore including ridiculous taxes on Bottled Water. I hope that all of the Insurance Companies and Banks that Cheat people out of money Prosper. I hope those that Cheat poor Students out of Graduations and Honors Prosper to the Point IRS Blesses them.
