CNN sucks. That is Rodham Clintons BS, she is playing for New York and she just doesn't get it. We are on to her.

Clinton Network News will continue to publish stuff like this bashing other candidates. They are the clear example of the "liberal media" based on their coverage policies and criticisms, standing as the polar opposite to the For Orthodox Xenophobes Network, which is just as bad from the other direction. Frankly, watching either CNN or FOX makes me want to take a shower after a few minutes.
Rudy's plan is to dump out of the smaller, harder conservative states and focus on the larger more moderate states like Florida, Nevada and Michigan. He hopes that if he picks up the more moderate, liberal friendly Republicans in the larger states like California, Massachusetts, New York and Florida, it doesn't matter if he loses smaller states that don't care about values he is interested in.
The 9/11 thing hasn't hurt him, yet, but he's got little ground else to prove he's a strong candidate for the conservative values angle for the Republicans. This goes back to the larger state issue as well, as no terrorist is going to attack Iowa, but they could attack NYC, LA, SF, Miami, Chicago or Boston. It's a numbers thing, and a fear thing. So the larger numbers areas are where Rudy will focus on and do better at then Huckabee or Romney.
He has a lot of backing so far, despite the critics against him, and he also has a lot of strong supporters that are less likely to back out on him, unlike Huckabee who people are just starting to get to know. Huckabee's also had to give speeches on the side at $25k a pop to keep fundraising, because he's almost out of money. Eventually he's going to hit a block with that... unless Stephen Colbert can send him some Comedy Central cash.
Rudy's poll numbers aren't as bad as McCain's are, and they obliterate anyone else outside of Huckabee and Romney. He may not be the front runner, but Rudy stands a better chance playing underdog at this point than frontrunner due to his issues, letting the others rip each other apart while he stands in the back watching it and then champions the larger states.
In fact, I think CNN's comments on Rudy actually help his chances at election, letting him take a breather and refocus while the others slug it out. He has the money to stay in the race due to his fundraising prior, and can force the issue as the larger states get ready to vote in the beginning of February.

No way will McCain win. He's my favourite candidate by far, but the polls disagree - the man isn't very good at winning elections.
It looks to me like CNN might be right, unfortunately. Giuliani and Huckabee strike me more as democrats than republicans, truth be told. I don't really want either one to win.

Nope... Huck is toast... at least if the Republicans WANT to win...
Huckabee is very articulate and "likeable" until you examine any single aspect about his experience in politics... then it's all down hill from there.
McCain has experience in Spades over Clinton but for some reason, Republicans are not very excited about him either... I haven't figured that out.

hope not. most of the other sobs are much worse. none of the above is my motto.
i would asolutely vote for charles barkley sooner than the slate of current sobs on both side of the stinking congress. they are all complicent in the awesome mess that people are waking up to.
the unwashed masses may be very slow to get it, but they will be slow to stop when the momentum reaches a critical mass. all the sobs and lobbyists will run for cover. the smart ones are already making plans to make a quick exit.
firing them is not enough anymore. impeachment and prison must be considered.

No. CNN are a bunch of Liberals. So that is fitting for them to say such crap. Don't rule him out yet. He had a few ups and downs but is still going pretty strong.
