Honestly, I've never heard of Brody Dalle but unfortunately I have heard of Courtney Love. No, I don't think she would have made it. I believe she shows America just how trashy some women can be and I think that Kurt Cobain would still be around if it were not for her. Courtney Love, in my opinion, is a human example of a blood-sucking parasite that sticks itself to talented musicians and, eventually, ends their lives.... so no, I don't think she would've made it. Kurt Cobain's death, unfortunately, did a lot for her career. It gave her a lot of publicity, good and bad, and all in all it simply put her in the limelight...

Even though Brody Dalle has talent, and Courtney Love blows some chicks away, in this day of "who knows, goes" they'd have had to pounce on some bigwig, just ask Mariah Carey or Celine Dion...Hell, even Whitney Houston had Aunt Warwick...

NO not really. I do like Hole and I think the music was right for the genre. Of course, there is power in persuasion and its always who you know and in their case, who you blow.
