I currently have an ATA/133 hard drive, would i be able to use a Serial ATA/300 HD?

Also, is there any 300gb hard drive i can get that would be compatible with my computer?
Pata/300 maybe?

Not with the ATA connector, no. ATA is NOT the same as SATA.

However, most mainboards bought in the last 2 years should have SATA controller built-in.

you need to look at your motherboard manual to see if it is supported but most likely you can
