I thought they were all encompassing of people who refuse to designate themselves to either of the 2 main parties...it's startting to look like they're not moderates or unaffilates at all. It was a good idea for a while, now it's the "other GOP"

actually moderate america is somewhat conservative leaning. We are a conservative leaning nation, even most liberals in America are, when contrasted with other nations.

So an independent party in america being more pacifist-conservative makes a lot of sense.

independents aren't a party we are independent, that's why we registered as independents, and as much as i don't agree with the republicans for many reasons, I'll still vote for rush limbah before i give my vote to anyone that wants to tax the crap out of me, and appease enemy nations or make this country another European union, and as long as the democrats strategy is oppose everything bush does and offer nothing by way of alternative its going to stay that way
