She literally set herself up for that tragedy. Now I'm not going to blame her for her death but I don't understand why....

She knew she was a sitting duck standing up and waving through the sunroof. Can't believe she would do that.
Maybe it was a dummy look-a-like and she is really safe somewhere else.
They didn't do a postmortem on her so they say and there are all kinds of questions surrounding her death that don't make any sense at all. She was wearing a bullet proof vest and scarf also so she knew the threat of assassination was imminent because of her political views and strong connection to U. S.
It's a very politically volatile time with the elections about to take place with the rally in support of the democratic candidates. If she did die a martyr or make it look like she did and in the chaos of the aftermath of her death, democracy could make a stronger more meaningful hold in the country being that she was such a strong proponent of it with such close ties to the US and European leaders.

She was all about her people, and she was always willing to get right out there and meet her supporters. Much like Princess Diana, Benazir Bhutto was always willing to put herself out there for the people who supported her, and it is unfortunate that this ended up getting her shot. But it is also why she was beloved by so many.

She was a politician...she had to be seen. Don't your politicians do the same sort of thing when it comes time for your elections ?

Skipjack - Yeah she helped herself to her people's money to the tune of $1.5 billion,that's how she helped her people.Must've thought with the U.S. backing her she could swoop in for another few quid.

Because some things are worth putting your life at risk. For her I believe it was the chance to help her people and she believed in it enough to give her life. What do you believe in enough to give your life?

i think she always did things like this, she would get on top of her jeep to wave at supporters or to talk to them...
maybe she thought she was untouchable. that it wouldn't happen to her.
