4 roof panels are slipping and 2 have been broken.I want to replace them myself as I know it will be expensive to repair. Some companies won't touch it as it wasn't their company that built it.Can anyone advise me or is it definately not a DIY job?

There's no reason why you can't tackle it yourself if your not bad at DIY. You should be able to pick up the panels from a good DIY store or search the net for suppliers.
It's not a difficult job, but if you don't feel confident enough, find a good handyman or a recommended builder. Good luck!

Conservatory Prices B&q

It all depends on the conservatory make up. I am a roofing contractor and once one of my men dropped a slate through a conservatory roof which i had to pay for to fix. This was not a job for me and i have been working on roofs for 25 years so im sorry all but each to their own.... get a fitter in, but what i will say is try and source the panels yourself. The best way to do that is to get 1 quote in and find out the name of the panels you need, just ask the installer when he comes round then when you have them get someone in the know to fit them. They ripped me off with the price of them. Good luck

Its not a hard job if you know what your doing. If its a pvc roof you should have no problems.A timber roof is alot harder. You can get panels from b&q or whoever but they may not be an exact match as the existing sheets.I know of places where you can get the sheets cut to size which would save cutting and taping them your self.

Not without other structural work being done as the tiles would be too heavy for a conservatory.
