I visit Las Vegas in early summer of this year. I like the place.
I put my home on sale in New Jersey and planning to move to Las Vegas Nevada. I'm from Central Jersey and I'm am sick of living here. I think that Las Vegas will work out for me becuase New Jersey is becoming too expensive and too overcrowed. What do you guy think ?

It will cost you somewhat less to live in Las Vegas, NV as compared to New Jersey at least when it comes to housing cost. Energy costs should be somewhat reduced as well because winter in Vegas is kind of like spring/summer everywhere else. If you do move & get a job in NV you can deduct your moving expenses from you taxes (a nice side benefit in addition to the reduced living expenses).

Here's a link to a cost of living calculator comparing the cost of living in New Jersey with Nevada: http://www.payscale.com/cost-of-living-calculator.aspx?to=Nevada_Las%20Vegas&from=New%20Jersey_Middlesex You can use the calculator to determine how your standard of living might change if you were to move to Nevada. You can also use it to find the median salary in Nevada for your job title. Or, you can find more accurate salary data for your specific job by taking the free salary survey at PayScale.com. http://www.payscale.com/?src=yahooA

Hope that helps,
