Sadly I believe that what your seeing is the same thing that happened to George Jones, Merle Haggard and a few of the other great ones. Reba was hot in the 80's & 90's but like the rest their is no room for her amongst the Picklers,Swifts, & Underwoods anymore. Eventually she will fade out like all the greats have. I guess it's like passing on the torch, she has had her time in the spotlight and believe me, for those that have seen her in concert and kept up with her through her career, she has done well for her self. She along with the other greats is why we all come here to share stories about them, share our knowledge about them so they will never be forgotten. I bet if you asked Reba how she felt about passing the torch on she would proudly say that she has done all she could in the buisness and it's time for someone else to try and take charge.

I think she is just going through what all country great do. A time period where they aren't in the spot light as much, they come out with a new record or two, but basically are in a "lull". I'm sure pretty soon we'll hear about a new smash hit record of hers but for now, I think she is just going through that "lull" that all the greats have in their careers. Hope that helped some. Take care.

I think she's very much appreciated. Look back a few years -- well, a lot of years -- and see all the awards and #1 records. She used to churn out hit after hit, but now she's doing other things...TV, Broadway. She's been on magazine covers and was Billboard's Woman of the Year in 2007. She's got a line of clothes. She's a very busy girl! She's probably got enough money that she could never spend it all, so now she can just do what she wants to do and not have to worry about having another hit or not.

I think that the younger generation may not appreciate her as much as they should, but her new album of duets is great. And she has been nominated for another grammy for the duet with Kelly Clarkson.

Tex said it all. But she seems happy. As long as it doesn't bother her then everything is fine. She has her loyal fans who still love her.

She didn't do a very good job with the duet with Kelly Clarkson, and I'd say her career needs another blockbuster to return to prominence.
