"We have a lot of kids who don't know what works means. They think work is a four-letter word."

If you don't know, what is your best guess? No fair looking it up! Just guess in fun.

Phil, I didn't thumb you down. And since you asked about it, I gave you a thumbs up when I just now checked my responses. I was talking about the word WORKS. It has five letters. I know what she meant. I was just asking who said it.

Do you know what people are referring to when they something is a "four-letter word?"

Curse words. The politician was saying "we have a lot of kids who don't what work means. The think work is a curse word."

Thats what she was saying. This is why "drive-by" media is hardly useful for anything other than wasting your time.

Who thumbed me down? Seriously, please explain why. If you truly think she was speaking to the number of letters in the word work, don't bother. You're too dumb to converse with.

Im gonna have to go with Al Gore inventing the internet. It achieved fame in a very silly way. Theres this game, Civilization 4. As you play through, you research technologies and wonders. Wonders would be like, a space station, with technologies being like, Electricity. When you go to research the Internet, the icon representing it has Al Gore's picture. Its very small, and its the only reference to the event. The game has a lot of humorous moments, this being among them.
