Sitting here, biding my time...
Waiting for the next question to appear...
So, it struck me, what's YOUR question?
Do you think you would like to post it without costing you 5 points?
I'm curious...
I'm bored...

Let's GO!

(I'll probably get into trouble for this, but, what the heck, right?)

OK, Bobby -- here's one.

A charged particle orbits the earth high above the atmosphere. Does it radiate?

Maxwell says: An accelerated charge always radiates.

Einstein says: Let's do a thought experiment and imagine that you're traveling in a little spaceship with the particle. The spaceship is an inertial reference system, following its gravitational path in spacetime. Since you and the particle are at rest in an inertial system, there's no radiation.

I'd like to see a convincing answer to this question; it's bothered me for a long time.

Who are some of these people who ask things that are generally stupid or so ridiculous that everyone makes fun of them? ( Can I mate my cat and pony?) Or people who are having sex but don't know that they can't get pregnant swimming in a pool with a boy?

I think a lot of people refrain from asking instead of answering questions (five points is nothing) because if you do ask a serious question, to begin a dialog, then some bugger calls you a "retard" or writes "who cares?". If you should get called on your question I'll gladly back you because I'm glad you asked.

Dr. Bob asked a good question but adding the additional reference of ones proximity to the particle doesn't change the original premise. The particle emits, period.

I don't mind asking question, I just can't think of anything unique.
I usually research my questions before asking and that usually answers it for me before I have the chance to actually ask it.

BUT, don't be afraid to ask, it really only costs 2 points after you chose best answers for your question (they award you 3 for choosing a BA)

I'm bored too.

I couldn't get to sleep last night, and my thoughts were losing all signs of intelligence, and then the question came to mind:

"How would a parrot fly in a gravity-free zone?"

I posted the only question I have this morning. I really don't care about it costing me points. I have more than enough.

My question is why in the world would people put
BLACK roof tiles on their roofs if it makes the
house hotter than white roof tiles in the summer,
thus increasing their cooling bills...
