Hey what a great idea, grilled cheese with bacon. Never had it but will try it. I have had it with ham but prefer not to have ham on it. I eat more grilled cheese without tomato soup than with.

Never tried it with bacon but I'd rather have that on the side.
I don't eat tomato soup. I prefer broccoli or chicken noodle with grilled cheese.

Grilled cheese with crispy bacon on the side - it gets mushy inside. Or, without bacon but with a side of good home-made tomato soup, yum! I had that yesterday...and I think I made the best grilled cheese sandwich I have ever had. I used italian scali bread, 2 slices of quality mild cheddar cheese and a thin slice of mozzarella in the middle. Man it was good...

No bacon. Bacon is too fatty and it ruins a perfectly good grilled cheese andwich. Tomato soup is OK, but not necessary.

.....With Pepper Jack and Smokey Provolone Cheese.... WITH.... Bacon... Thick Sliced!
The Bread should be.... Rye and Pumpernickel !
The Fresh Made Tomato.... Soup... should be Smoothed with.....Half-&-Half....!
