I know it sounds extreme and radical and harsh, but why beat around the Bush and do what we want? Thats what the old empires did?

the USA has a GOD given right to free the world and make it into our image .....after all we are the shining light of freedom and fairness in the world not to mention our great economic success.
So...yeah it may be harsh to do by gunpoint .....but they will love us for it eventually. We can have one island where we keep all the political undesirables......maybe Cuba.

with each country we take over, we can take over their natural resources towards our conquest efforts elsewhere and conscript their fighting age male civilians to help invade the next country...thats how we get the man power. and we can send the working age female citizens to random other countries to work to build more weapons and bombs for more invasions.

It can't be done. We don't have the resources or the military capabilities or the money to do this.

Even the poor wren the most diminutive of birds will fight for her young ones in the nest (Macbeth - Shakespeare)
The US is almost broke - Indeed it is looking into the abyss and seemingly unaware
400 million per day on a war that has lasted more than 4 yrs - Chinese and Japanese creditors who loan America money to pay off the interest on loans
An over stretched armed force - According to Maj General Baptsie - the President's strategy is breaking the Army and Marine corps
Enemies now abound - Alquiada the Taliban and an increased Russian world presence together with an angry China - all look at America as a has been, used to be power on it's last legs before it collapses in on itself
And you want to try to take over the world ?
With what ?
Even if America was still a super power or an economic force instead of a drain propped up by China and Japan - the world would fight to be whatever nationality they are now with the culture they were born into and they would fight to the death -
Face it
It is over - don't start talking about ww3 or world domination or you might see a new iron curtain down the middle of America
1/2 Russian 1/2 Chinese
So shut up and keep your head down

We had better takeover here first. Get rid of these so called delegates, working(ha) for our good interest.Sure there are people with enough experience, charisma, and intelligence to do the job, and if they would work for the working American, that would be fine, all tho, we are seeing people loseing their homes, going hungry to pay bills, and general unrest. The old mom and pop service stations done away with (with the pretenceof poluting the ground water, come on I,m far from being a rocket man but,I figured that one out early in the game. Out of our Social Security raise,my wife and I, realized 25.00$. The rest of it went to the insurance factory. I guess what I'm saying, we need to get this country on the right road first, before we try to show the world that they should BE LIKE US.

Most of the countries would all fall under welfare and would make us go broke. Look at the old USSR!! America is not a nation that is wanting to spread out and conquer. We want people to live in a democracy if that is what they want.
You will hear many things about fighting for oil and such, but one thing about it. If Iran took over Iraq, what do you thing they would do with the flow of that stuff to America??? How much would you be willing to pay for a gallon of gas??? $10.00 ? $25.00?
Germany, Italy and Japan had no oil or resources and we went to war to beat them. You will always have others with different opinions, but oh well, that is what makes this country so great. We can voice our opinion and not worry about the secret police visiting us in the middle of the night.

Try policing it. You don't have barely enough troops to police Iraq. Try invading Iran, a country twice the size with 3 times the army and police that.
You cannot force people into doing or believing something they don't want to and call it freedom.
You live in a fantasy world if you think you can invade a country and have everybody love you for it. Hitler had the same idea you know, and even the anschluss wasn't particularly popular with Austrians - let alone a completely foreign power with completely foreign ideals invading. Would you like China to invade and impose socialism on your country?
That's what the old empires did? Look what happened to the old empires.

That's not democratic.
Actually it sounds like Hitler and Napoleon and all of the other leaders who wanted world domination!
I wish we could just keep freedom and democracy alive and strong in the U.S. first!
Besides none of this really is about spreading democracy that is just the rallying cry and useful to get the citizens of the U.S. to support the administration's cause.

Eventually--if we can stand by our allies and continue to promote democratic reforms. We can in essence take over the entire world.
Democracy for all--through economic trade and capitalistic markets--
NOT MILITARY FORCE--that we reserve for those that screw with us--then after they are disposed of--we can help their former country men develop democracy and capitalism.
