After sex my boyfriend always checks the condom to make sure it hasnt broken and nothing has leaked, if their were no rips and no semen present on the outside of the condom is there any other way that the condom could have been uneffective or a chance of any thing leaking??

It seems that your boyfriend checks the condom correctly and that you have nothing to be worried about.

Incidentally, you need to learn how to spell --- it is "Ineffective"....

Sure, whay usually happens is called spillover. It occurs after he ejaculates and continues pumping. His penis pushes down against the end of the condom and it forces the semen back and it leaks around the end of his penis near the ring on the condom. The semen leaks directly onto and into you.
