OK I have 3 questions, and I'm very gratefull for any that are answered! OK here goes:

1. What are the measurements for a Hemp Necklace, mine needs to be a little larger than normal because my Dad won't let me wear them too tight. I think around 20 inches would be good.

2. Is it socially acceptable for a Straight guy to weave small, turqoise beads into the necklace, or is that sort of femenine?

3. They'res this song that I heard on the radio, but I didn't hear the name, but I really like it. Near the begining it said: "Sometimes I give myself the creeps, it all keeps adding up, I think I'm cracking up..." And that's all I can remember. The voices sound a little like a mix between Greenday and the people who did "Father of mine" or "When I come around."

Thanks so much! And also if you have any websites that gets into the more complex knots when making Hemp Necklaces, That would be apprecitated too! Thanks so much guys! ^^ -Carmine

Sorry about the late answer, missed your question yesterday.

This site has everything you need to know about hemp necklaces:

Take you string much longer than they tell you, hemp is cheap, and you can make the necklace longer too.

Of course you can add turquoise into the thing, but keep it simple for the first one.
Some of the best traditional jewelry in the USA is almost all turquoise and worn by men, but if you are a little on the feminine side, and do not want to be taunted, stay away from beads.

I do not know anything about the song, but you did get an answer on that already.
If that is not the one you are looking for, add as much as you know into google, or one line at a time, add text or lyrics and see what you find.

Start at 10 for the necklaces and they will probably try and talk you down to $8-9, which is okay. Gas prices are sky high and everyone is sorta strapped for cash. Something is better than nothing. :)

the song is Welcome to paradise by greenday
when i come around is also by greenday
father of mine is everclear

EDIT: so ironically enough, I was driving home from work and just heard welcome to paradise (which I haven't heard in at least 5 years) on the radio. So I want to amend my statement. The song you are trying to think of is not Welcome to Paradise, it is actually Basket Case still by Green Day.
