50 / 50 I try to mix it up sometimes and other time I experiment.

about 60% of the time, I try something new. Usually just because I am familiar with a certain restaurant doesn't mean I go there for the same item.

When it's my first time at a restaurant, I usually go for something that I've never eaten anywhere else (I don't order familiar dishes).

I've asked the waiter a few times to recommend something and I've never been disappointed yet!

These guys have a reputation to maintain and a good restaurant will have knowledgeable staff.

You know when I go out I have it in my head that I am going to try something new, but then I get there and I don't want to be disappointed so I order the same thing.

I usually have the same thing.. if it was good the first time, it'll be good the 2nd time.. usually... wow.. I'm pretty closed minded huh?
