My best friend and I are going to Charlotte, North Carolina the first weekend of the year. What all is there to do? We are females in our mid 20's. Thanks for your help.

We are going to see a play on Friday night and wanted a fun activity to do on Saturday.

There is the Mint--a wonderful museum and very popular. Around (outside the city limits, just ask where) the city there are special really old homes from hundreds of years ago and it is so weird to be in a really old house. Heck, check out

There is always SHOPPING!!! I believe their are also probably night clubs in the area if you girls like to do that kind of stuff. You might also want to get on ticketmaster's website and see if there are any shows or anything happening around there. Also see if you can google Charolette NC and see if there is any info on there about activities and things to do there. If it were spring or summer I would suggest carowinds, but it's not. Just a little tip though, I don't know where you have hotel reservations, but do not stay at the Nights Inn. We went there a few years ago. The pics on the internet were nice, but it was nasty.

You could get tickets to a Hornets game if they're in town.
