My friend's father was Scottish. Although we live in Essex he came down and cooked it on New Year's Eve. Didn't fancy the idea but when I tried it i loved it!
Got my partner to try it a couple of years ago and now we often have haggis in the freezer. We eat it any time of year!

Here too and I live 600 miles away from Scotland. However you're not exactly correct - it should be Haggis, 'neaps and tatties. And as I have suggested in a previous answer, washed down with a 'wee dram'.

Haggis, Neeps and tatties, Haggis turnips and potatoes to you and me, I ate it in a funky little resteraunt on the west coast of Scotland and was beautifull - good hearty grub !!!

I was stationed on Benbecula a few years back. Tried haggis - hated it
More recently, visited Kirkcaldy, tried again - still hated it

Guess I'll stick to welsh cakes

Kev - Have a great Hogmanay (did I spell that right?)

Yep, I love a plate of haggis, neeps and tatties.

Edit: Bunches ~ Yeah, you spelled it spot on. I'm impressed, everybody always spells Kirkcaldy wrong. Thumbs up to you.

Only had Haggis once and wasn't fond, mind you I was a picky teenager at the time so might have to have another go at it.

Love them down here in the Lake District. I send to Findlays of Edinburgh for mine, real gold medal food.
