I am interested in buying a freshwater stingray and I want to know where to buy them and are they legal in Arkansas. Any websites would be appreciated. Thanks.

they are legal in arkansas. however, be aware that they require very large tanks. id suggest no less than 180 gallons for an adult motoro stingray. also, they need a heater guard and regular partial water changes

In addition to the following answers,(mainly the large tank suggestion,the substrate in the large tank MUST be fine sand . This is to allow the 'rays to bury themselves in the substrate. These fish need live foods(vitamin loaded earthworms are a good staple). I don't know if one exists,but a good book would be a great adjunct to whatever information you can find on the web.
