Do u tAkE quEstiOnS wit bad punc. and spElliNg les sErioUslY?

I mean honestly, doesn't it take more time to type like that as well as more time to figure out what it means?

Yeah, sometimes I try to seriously assess the mental competence of the questioner!

Not only do I take then less seriously, I don't usually bother with them!

I know it's only a bit of fun on here, but I think it could be excellent practice, for those that need it, to get some basic grammar and spelling under their belts.

I cant decide if it points to laziness, lack of education or a bit of both. I certainly would not employ someone who wrote that way.

Sigh. I must admit I do. Most times I will simply ignore those type questions. Why...because I worry that my initial reaction will wind up getting me reported for being too honest again. Sometimes however, I just can't help myself..and then I figure let 'em figure out what my answer really means. It's only fair after all...

If it's not well written, brief and to the point, I don't bother. Life is too short to wade thru the lengthy ramblings of those who think they have to emit every brain wave. As for grammar etc, some don't know how to write, some don't type well, and some are ignorant. That doesn't mean they don't have valid issues.

Half the time I don't even bother reading questions with bad grammar and spelling. It grates on my nerves something terrible.

It depends. If the question seems sincere I take it seriously. If the question seems as dumb as the spelling I ignore it.

YES! YES! YES! Thank goodness, I thought I was the only person on here that's not 12, or illiterate.

They clearly didn't care about their question enough to use the damn spell check, so why should I?
